Hey You!
I'm Garrett – your friendly photo and video chap with a cheeky sense of humour and a knack for capturing fleeting moments. I pride myself on being able to integrate into your friends and family group like some sort of Irish ninja. Making them feel at ease with the presence of a camera, and more importantly helping them drop their guard. I can capture their true personalities, funny expressions, pure emotional states and everything in-between.
Originally hailing from Ireland, I embarked on my adventurous round the world journey at the ripe age of 20. It was during my travels to far-flung corners of the globe that I crossed paths with my incredible wife. That’s how I ended up here in the UK. According to her, she went all the way to the other side of the world just to meet an Irish man! That adventure brought me to the UK some 20 years ago, I’ve never looked back.

We really don’t like having out photo taken?
You’re my people, I’ve got you. Over the years I’ve always seemed to attract folks just like you. I love to keep things relaxed and stress free — it means more smiles and good times all round. I’ll find the best light and locations on the day and we’ll pop in and out of ‘photo mode’. Keeping the time away from your wedding to a minimum.
How much is your retainer?
20%
When is the balance due?
You can make as many or as few payments as you’d like. With any remaining balance due 4 weeks before your big day.
This is awkward, we’ve got a photographer. Can you do video along side them?
Absolutely. It’s not awkward at all. And vice versa, if you have a videographer in mind I’ll happily work alongside any professional. And often do throughout the year.
Can we adapt your packages?
Absolutely. It makes perfect sense to match what I create with what you need.
Can you do both photography and video?
This is something I’m oft asked. In short yes, but not by myself. I have a bunch of amazing creatives whom I partner with. Together we make sure you have a great time and have epic memories to look back on.
I’ve read you do a thing called ‘Story’, what’s that?
Story is your very own mini documentary. An interview based video showing the real you, and the real both of you. Let your imaginations run away with this, we could film anywhere in the world. Email me for more details and a few examples.
We’re getting married overseas, is that something you do?
You betcha! I’ve been lucky enough to work all over Europe and absolutely love it.
Should we have a pre-wedding shoot?
The main benefit of a pre-wedding shoot isn’t just that you’ll have awesome photos from the shoot. Your wedding photos always feel and flow better after a dry run. There’s something to do with breaking the ice that really helps on the big day. Do you need one, not necessarily, but they do help.
What’s the craic with drones?
I have one. I only fly it wherever safe and practical. Lots of venues are scared out of their socks by drones, so it’s worth checking with them if they’ll let me fly. If your venue is close to a major airport, or potential hazard, I can apply for permits. Please leave plenty of time for me to arrange any permits as I may have to appeal.
How far in advance should we be getting serious?
It depends on the time of year you’re getting married. Saturdays in summer you really should secure your date 18 months in advance. Early Autumn and Christmas are the same. All other times of year are relatively chill — accept half terms, they’re always busy.
